Although there is no Braille display connected to my Mac, Braille is still
being displayed on-screen. I have been using a display, but now even after
several reboots, I can’t get rid of this issue. I don’t know it’s there, VO
isn’t reporting anything, but to those with eyes, Braille

Did you try disconnecting by putting Voiceover in Braille mode?
