Hello Margaret,

Have you tried Tim Sniffen’s free iBook, "Mastering the Macintosh with
VoiceOver”? A lot of people have found it very useful and it covers using Pages.

Cheers,

To use styles you need to do that through the formatter. People keep asking me
to do either a written or audio guide on how to use pages. I'm thinking of
doing both, but it will take time.

To access the templets after you create a new document is not possible. but you
can save your new document as a templet if you customized it. Do this through
file then templets.

The one thing I'd wish they would fix and I've reported it about 20 times now
is the inability to select text that span multiple pages. I've verified this is
a voice over bug by shutting off voice over and selecting multiple pages.
Looks likeI have to keep reporting that one.

Take care.

I think cmd option I shows and hides the inspector. you can change to the
formater part in the tool bar by checking the fomater radio button.

hi,

one question re pages how do I get voiceover to read track changes and comments
- I use pages a lot and for the most part really like it - experienced the same
problems as you re selecting text that goes over multiple pages so if Ann could
post the solution to that I would love it. But the one thing I can’t seem to
get it to do is read comment bubbles or track changes. - actually it does read
the changes a bit now as it will read both suggested changes but the comments
bubbles I really want it to read

Hello Julie,

To find the next comment or change, press Cmd-Option-k and you should land in a
popover where you can read the comment or change and who did it. You can also
accept or reject it. If the popover doesn’t come up, try pressing VO-Shift-j.

Cheers,
