http://www.connectix.com/support/vpcm_online.html = updates for 3, 4 and
five. Help, .pdf mostly, knowledge base and a simple FAQ
http://www.connectix.com/downloadcenter/pdf/Howto_win98_flat2expand.pdf
= the recently talked about expanding of hardfiles and abit about the
difference between version 3 and 4
http://www.connectix.com/downloadcenter/pdf/vpc5m_datasheet_nov01.pdf =
v5 rundown.

Didn't know v3 could make use of Voodoo cards, where and how?
Anything below OS9 has a ceiling of 2gb per hard drive file on vpc
regardless of version, this is a fault in the mac os as opposed to a
similar fault with pcsetup and OS9+
VPC does not support firewire or cd-writing in any version.

"Virtual PC 4.0 provides a number of new features for drive images,
including drive
images that dynamically expand. These new features are only present,
however, for drive
images created with Virtual PC 4.0. Drive images created with earlier
versions of Virtual PC,
while useable with Virtual PC 4.0, do not have any of these new features."

Unlike the separate hard drive expander in v3, it is incorporated into
v4's setup screen
I'm pretty sure these files are backward compatible. :) Version5 doesn't
seem to change this.

Minimum requirements for v5 are "native G3+ processor", there's a good
chance work will purchase a copy that I can try to test upgraded
old-world machines. ;)

There are a few tips for printing "work around for the black band
effect" in the v4 readme and the knowledge base points you to the vpc
help installed for tips on usb.
