I was told , in order to add an item to the controlstrip, I should either drop the icon unto the controlstrip proper or put it into the controlstrip module folder in the System folder. However, some items resist this. While I have no trouble with the Apple Menu items, I cannot put anything else

Hi Marta, Control Strip modules could be installed by simply drag and drop on top of your System Folder. But don't assume that just one file will be involved nor installed. A control strip module may be comprised of a system extension and a control strip module (maybe even more) for it to

Hi Allan and Marta, Your control strip modules are more analogous to plug-ins instead of drivers. It should be relatively easy to determine whether a piece of software is a control strip module. Performing a Get Info on the file in question or just drag in on top of your System Folder and
