This a new iMac. I used to burn music on my G4 at 4 or 6X and it
would play

Hi Folks,
I'm getting a warning in a window in iTunes when I sync my iPod Touch.
It states:
The application 'Translator' was not installed on the iPod 'My iPod'
because it required a newer version of iPhone OS.
I'm syncing a Gen I iPod Touch. Is this something I should just blow
off
The application may require Touch 3.0 os.
Have you updated you iTouch OS to 3.0?

Translator may be for the iPhone only. If it requires an audio input
it won't work on the stock iPod Touch.
It may also require the OS3.0 software. I doubt this is the issue but
you never know.
Did you check the information on the app in the iTunes App Store?

It couldn't be something as simple as that, could it? I mean, I do
update my computer software routinely, my iPod certainly would also update,
wouldn't it?
Thanks Ed. I must have been updating my computer without having my iPod
attached. It's now fixed. (Didn't know I had to BUY it!)
Thank you Ed! It worked like a charm.
