[MacGroup] Antivirus Software
My new job requires me to have antivirus software on my MacBook in order to use the network. Does anyone have any suggestions for something that is minimally intrusive and won't slow it down t much? [MacGroup] MiFi Update
It's been a few months now using the MiFi units from ATT and Verizon. When I first purchased these the speed of the ATT was unreal, it ate the Verizon unit's lunch, there was no comparison.but as far as usage the Verizon unit is by far the most versatile, having coverages in vastly more places than the ATT. When we traveled out West for close to 3 weeks I used the Verizon almost exclusively, and while here in our area the connectivity is close to the same but outlying areas are almost totally in the Verizon camp. Since these units have nothing to do with our phone provider it's good to know the differences so we can make informed decisions. If I had to choose one, it would be Verizon.
