Meaning,
you answered yes to the question of where you want to have the cpan
directory installed
in this case it never could have made the yes directory as there was
no /
then, as filepath which couldn't be found...leads to unresolvable issues.
cpan will put build/ metadata/ and
helpful, get
more info there by using (at the system prompt)
perldoc cpan.

reported having a week ago on this list. None of the answers recommended to
him have worked for me, I'll try to give some detail about my situation.
As Mr. Schwartz put it I think I have configured CPAN
info there by using (at the system prompt)
perldoc cpan.
