OK, the hardware test finally found an error and stopped (at 1 hour, 32 minutes). The error message is: 4HDD/11/4000: SATA(0,0) I guess that must be the hard drive. If that's the only error reported, can I feel pretty sure that the hard drive is the only bad component? Thanks everyone
