upgrading from 10.6 to 10.8

Hi, My wife's iMac is still running Snow Leopard (10.6.8), and I have a Mac Pro and a Mac Mini that are both running Lion (10.7.5). Over the holidays, I plan to update all 3 macs to Mountain Lion. For my 2 macs, I will simply upgrade from Lion to Mountain Lion. What about my wife's iMac? Is
