I was the one that fixed the hpn variant last time. As long as the patch
doesn't break hpn on Tiger I'm fine with whoever applies the patch.

Hi Macport Devs,
Just out of curiosity, how come there is such a lack of ported emacs
modes? Are there any plans to incorporate more emacs mode in Macports or
do I have to roll my own?

No. I have only tested this port on a iBook G4. I don't have an Intel
Mac to test this port. Maybe someone who has one can help?
