I've been seeing this error on some (but not all) ports that I try to
install, upgrade, or clean lately. Renameutils, for instance. Using

New subscriber here. I recently deleted some image folders (in
/opt/local/var/macports/software/) upon advice in a macports bug
report, and find that it has somewhat borked my macports install. I

I have installed PHP MySQL and Apache through macports and I did it
successfully at first attempt, made some changes later and now mysql client
cannot connect to server using /opt/local/var/run/mysql5/mysqld.sock.
I changed owner ship of /opt/local folder to my local account and lat
