and this fails when it tries to update 'strigi', here is the main.log

Hi Norman - 'strigi' depends on 'automoc', which depends on 'qt4-mac'. In your
install, 'qt3' is active, while 'qt4-mac' is not. Hence, the 'strigi' cannot
be upgraded. 'qt3' and 'qt4-mac' conflict with each other, so you'll need to
deactivate qt3 and activate qt4-mac @4.7.3_0+quartz before
