Thanks; I was wondering why so few things were updated...
Oh, and whilst I'm here, the 10.10.1 upgrade was seamless!

This release was fast-tracked to address registry performance. It does not
contain any new features.

Wasn't this the version that was to summarise any post-installation notes
at the end? I just got told to:
sudo launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchDaemons/org.freedesktop.dbus-system.plist
launchctl load -w /Library/LaunchAgents/org.freedesktop.dbus-session.plist

No, I did not know that ntpdc was considered dead.
And yes, ntpq -p (mind your p's and q's), and ntpq -c sysinfo, work fine.

I'm trying to get the macports ntp to work
I have disabled the system ntpd by unchecking the preference in date and time
preference to synchronize.
I have used "sudo port load ntp" to start the ntpd daemon.
I've verified that it is running.
But "ntpdc -s" fails to get anything other than "localh
The MacPorts Project is pleased to announce the release of version
2.3.3. This is a bugfix release which addresses performance issues when
using the SQLite version included with Yosemite.
If you already have MacPorts installed, the preferred method for
updating is to run:
sudo port selfupdate
Keeping it on the list.

My regular FreeBSD security check says that "py26" is insecure.

You need to open a ticket on https://
Thanks.
I've uninstalled and installed from the pkg and it's working cleanly now.

How do I update the FiPy port to the newest version (3.1)? Presently the
MacPorts Portfile only lists version 3.1.

Brandon pointed out in IRC that this is not a real configuration, which outs me
as never having owned a PowerPC Mac.
So the actual question is: Is anyone who compiles libgcc for Powe

Thanks, Daniel, but unfortunately the page you refer me to has not been
updated for Yosemite. The install instructions are certainly out-of-date
and so the uninstall instructions might be too.
Question: Has anyone followed exactly those uninstall instructions and
then reinstalled successfully?
