I'm not sure why py-zopeinterface is failing to build for you. It
works for me. I have 10.4.11 on Intel with Xcode 2.4.1. The

 zope/interface/_zope_interface_coptimizations.so

I assume you have a PowerPC Mac, based on your output?

For some reason, on your Mac, it hasn't included the path to the
compiler, /usr/bin/gcc-4.0, in the command line. I don't know why.
What version of Xcode do you have?

What version of Mac OS X do you have?

Mack: This is my fault. You're on powerpc, right? I built the
Leopard dmg today on an Intel Mac and forgot +universal. I've heard
that the 10.4 dmg will work fine on Leopard, so you can probably go
ahead with that instead while I work on getting a fixed Leopard dmg
up.

jmpp: you might want to add +universal to the ReleaseProcess
document. I completely forgot it since it wasn't necessary (or
possible) when I did the Panther dmg, but it is now.

Some p5-* ports need to overwrite perl5.8 port to upgrade its core
modules.

This does not break anything. Don't worry, be happy.
