The latest MacPorts upgrade to Wireshark 1.12.4, which updated without a
problem, now reliably crashes when trying to start it up. Previous version
worked fine.
I have the Wireshark app 1.99.2 also installed which still works ok.
When starting from the terminal MacPorts Wireshark crashes with;-
That port is a beast. I'm amazed it ever worked.

You need to install from svn trunk. Or at least that has been the best
experience I have had.

I sometimes use extensive and lengthy notes in portfiles. I want to update
one's notes section just a bit, but I'd hate to think it would cause anyone
to actually upgrade an installed port because of it. What is the
recommended practice now?
