Hello there,
I am trying to execute the instructions on this page
https://trac.macports.org/wiki/LibcxxOnOlderSystems, but am stuck at step 4 of
Bootstrapping 3:
On instruction
sudo port -v uninstall llvm-3.4 clang-3.4
I get
Warning: Failed to execute portfile from registry for llvm-3.4
Usually I get my own message when it arrives. Not this time, but since I had
connectivity issues last night, I thought it was lost. Can you point me to the
right link for mailing list subscription?

Hello to all.
I retried upgrading readline again, and it failed again, at a different port
though.
Here is the log:

Sorry for the late reply.
How do I link to a 13.6MB log file? I think Pastebin wouldn't take it…

Just linked the file. I thought zipped files were a big no-no because of virus
or malicious software risks.

Hello,
I did try to run
sudo port upgrade readline
But after long hours of compiling, it failed, again, when trying to upgrade
libgcc.

Good to know this isn't a mistake on my side. I'll try later, then…

Hello MP list,
I tried to upgrade all the outdated ports on Mac OS X 10.6, but it stopped with

Thanks for your quick answer, but it doesn't seem to work, still.

Hi mailing list,
as part of a routine port upgrade outdated, gpsd had to be updated as well,
but apparently failed to compile. Mac OS X version is Snow Leopard, and already
has received ticket number 47498.
Any hint when a solution will be offered?
Pat
The last workaround doesn't seem to work:
I get:
:info:build ./gpsd_config.h:305:13: error: redefinition of typedef 'clockid_t'
is invalid in C [-Wtypedef-redefinition]

Hello MP list,
I just tried to run

looked in the log, but found nothing I could understand.
Here is the log.

Hello all and thanks for committing patches. It seems to have built
successfully, but fails on a simple merge operation. As written elsewhere, I
took care to manually install curl and pkgconfig.
On command
$ mkvmerge -v -o lplde.mkv cd1.avi + cd2.avi
it gave:
mkvmerge(36577) malloc: *** error
