Hi Ben - port rdeps octave +gcc48 does returns lots of ports, but
gcc48 only in that category for me (10.8, MacPorts from svn trunk).
Maybe it is part of a rev-upgrade? - MLD

then updated macports. Any chance the selfupdate changed the rdeps result?
