You’re not trying to restore Time Machine, are you? It doesn’t live in
/opt/local. So I assume you are trying to use Time Machine to restore
everything under /opt/local. Is that right?
If that’s the case, one of the steps is going wrong. For starters, I would
select /opt in the Finder window

I was going to install exa; I already had the listed build/library
dependencies installed; but the port asked for all sort of other build
dependencies which are not listed as dependencies in the source or as
dependencies of the dependencies. Is that an error in the port or is it
intentional?

After I install "py39-cartopy" (see below), NCL does not work any more
(it works well before)
It said "dyld: Library not loaded: @rpath/libgcc_s.1.1.dylib"
Do you know how to fix it?
