Presently, I've ripped the whole toolchain out and have started from
scratch on my i386 MacMini in order to try to fix as many of my issues
as possible.
And I'm doing a

Bill Cole mentions doing a "port upgrade --force clang-8.0"
Is it a good idea to do this after having installed a new version of
clang ?!?

In my experience with python3 then if it works in python3x then it also
works in python3x++
The big transitions were
python25 -> python26
python31 -> python32
and python27 is fundamentally incompatible with python37; eg the support
for utf-8
've eg somehow gotten libsvm installed, and it has :
Variants: [+]java, [+]python27, python34, [+]tools, universal
as well as being seriously out-of-date:
libsvm @3.20_2 -> Version 3.24, September 2019

you've got three (3) Terminal commands to manage users directly
# dscl
# dsexport
# dsimport
so for your case something like :
dsexport export.out \
/local/Default \
dsRecTypeStandard:Users \
-r _messagebus,...,pulse
-u admin -p password
oug
cctool}" "${binDir}/${theTool}"
done
done 9< <( port contents cctools | fgrep /bin/ )
On my 2 x 10.6.8 I've got :
#=> port installed perl*
The following ports are currently installed:
perl5 @5.28.3_0+perl5_30
and I’d like to link up to compare the situations, issues, etc.
