Looking at this page, it struck me that it could be improved in two ways. First, I wanted to tease apart the different issues (thread safety, performance, convenience, etc). Second, I wanted to make the case that MacRuby isn't _just_ a replacement for RubyCocoa. I made the changes in place, so I hope everybody likes them (if not, I'm sure the wiki has version control :-).
