I know. It's crazy. that's why I thought I'd ask on list. Do you know how to

anything that might address this issue.

If yo mean the settings of the Airport, open up Airport Utility on a Mac
connected to the network. That's where you can configure all your settings and
such. Since this router is new, you might be able to call up Apple's support
number (1-800-MyApple) and see if they can help troubleshoot
Hi Alex,
I do mean the settings of the time Capsule. I've looked in the Airport
utility, but don't see anything that I can actually configure. I didn't try
calling Apple, because the Time Capsule is more than 90 days old. But maybe
I'll give that a shot.

Hi there
Maybe I missed something here, but I have always opened pdf files on my iPhone

As for the Mac, I have not been able to use anything else except either Preview

When you connected your husband's PC to the TC, was it using Ethernet (a cable)

If Ethernet, your options for making it go faster are limited, and Apple should
probably get involved. If wireless, you could try changing the channel,

If you can give up space on your Mac partition, then yes, you can shrink your
existing Mac partition and make room for your new partition if you want to do
that. You should be careful not to touch your Windows partition.

Hi all,
I'm reading used iMac listings, and I'd like some help figuring out specs.
Intel Core I5/3.6 GHz, 4 GB of Ram
Intel Core I5/2.7 GHz, 16 GB of Ram
Intel Core I3/3.2 GHz, 16 GB of Ram
That is just a very small sampling. In which order of importance should I pay
attention to the numbers?
Hi,
In addition to what Sabahattin mentioned, it is entirely possible that your
network may slow down while a Time Machine Backup is in progress. The
processor on the TC is likely reserving some bandwidth for your backup process
as well as processing your network traffic. To manipulate
Hi,
It kind of all depends on your needs. The i3 processor is considerably slower
than the i5 and vastly slower than the i7. Yes, the speed is deceiving. The
i7 processor with the slower noted speed will likely perform faster than the i5
processor at 3.6 GHz. Most of the MacBook Airs come
Also, keep in mind that on most macs, it is pretty easy to upgrade the
ram yourself. Just something to consider.

When I press enter to reply to a Tweet, it works fine but on Twitter itself, it

This seems to annoy other users, so I've had to resort to going to Twitter

No idea, sorry. I'm not going to look at Windows again until Windows 9. Also,
I think you'll probably find your life a bit easier if you just bought stuff
instead of cracking it. :)
Cheers,

Hello,
I'm trying to use audacity to select a portion of a track. I know about the
left and right brackets to mark the start and end points. My question is how
do you adjust the markers? If there aren't some keyboard shortcuts for this
then the program isn't very useful to us.
I have other
I use comma and period (add shift to jump by larger increments) to move back or

move the markers by small increments, but I've always found it easier to do the
movement myself. I don't recall the commands now, but if

I just want to say thanks to everyone who chimed in on this discussion. I'm

I'm not sure if bluetooth braille displays work at logon. I know for a fact
displays connected to USB work everywhere, including at login and during
software updates, so you can just connect your display that way.
