Uploading to Amazon S3

I have a question that is related to finder and looking for things. Anytime I use one of the arrow keys I hear “finder busy” and I have to wait until I hear “finder ready”. This is time consuming. Does anyone know why this happens and how to get rid of it? I am running El Capitan on an iMac.

I have not tried LaunchBar in a while, but I understand they made significant VoiceOver improvements recently. Here is an AppleVis podcast demonstrating its search and other functionality. It is mostly a command line interface, so you could type "mail from Chuck" and I believe it will search

Yes, it is standard in MacOs that the current selection does not move when using standard scrolling functions like page up or page down. I generally avoid these commands for the VoiceOver equivalent keys or using a VoiceOver search. Other things you might find useful depending on your actions:

Quick note here, the pattern match you mention below is not considered a Regular expression but instead a "glob expression". The primary difference is that in a glob * means match any number of any characters, while in a regular expression it would be ".*" in other words having a period
