Hi,
I'm not so sure it has to do with the OS update as with a Pages update. I
updated pages a couple of weeks ago and now can't select text for editing.

Hi,
I’d like a reminder, please. How do you activate the context menu when it’s
something I can’t access in any other way?
Thanks,

Hi,
Yes, the selecting in Pages as been mentioned here since the update. Send it
in to Apple Accessibility anyway to add your voice to the need for it to be
addressed as soon as possible.

Hi!
Robobraille.org is quite self-instructive.
I think you can send a mail also attaching the pdf to conv...@robobraille.org
and in the subject-line type rtf or whatever format you want it converted to.

Hello Mike,
Have you tried just selecting all the text in the PDF document with Cmd-a and
pasting it into a TextEdit document? You can do this with just two shortcuts if
you’ve activated the service New TextEdit window containing selection.
Cheers,
Anne

Quite often, if one goes into the file menu, there is a “save as other” option.
This allows you to save the pdf as a Word file, rtf file, plain text, etc.
If the particular file does not have this option, you can send the file as an
attachment to

Hello,
There is a way of converting a .pdf file to a text file via an Apple Script.
When you have a .pdf file you simply VO+Shift+M and select convert to text and
the text file appears where you selected it to be placed when setting up the
script. I can’t find the details immediately and I
Hello, Mary,
No, I haven’t upgraded to High Siera yet.
One reason I need PDFs in a different format is that I want to read them on
braille displays that don’t interface all that well with the Mac.
There used to be web-based services that would convert your PDFs to RTF or TXT
files and e-mail
Hi Mike,
I can't answer your question about the services, although I will be following
this thread with interest. I'm curious if you have upgraded to high Sierra and
still find a PDF reading to be as bad as ever. Or have you found improvement?

Hello everyone,
Although I can read many PDFs on the Mac, I find the process sometimes „clunky.“
I know that there are services out there that allow you to send them a PDF file
and they will email an RTF version back to you. My problem is that I haven’t
used any of these services in years,
