Hi, I have this same problem. I can be reading a relatively long email or just have my computer sitting there and the user account dialogue will pop up. It goes away if I hit the control key but if I'm reading I lose my place in whatever I'm reading. I agree it can be very annoying. Gabe On

I did not do a clean install. I upgraded over the top of Sierra. As for a specific webpage, that really isn't necessary. Just go about your business and find a nice meaty article on some webpage and start doing a continuous read. Or if you happen to have a nice long email saying a newsletter,

Well, if anybody cares, I set my Mac to go to sleep after three hours. It had been set to never. And I said the screen saver to kick in after 1 hour. I shut down the machine and restarted it. And still, if I start reading a long email or an article, within about two minutes or so, I get that
