Hello, I think I found a workaround. Once you paste the file, move to it with the VO cursor, it will say group or something close to that. Use the contextual menu with VO-shift-M and select remove style. In my test the file name was then read. I am not sure if that removed any styles from the

If two apps are cutting off an area in the same manner, make sure your window is set to full view. In skim in the menu bar windows and zoom do the trick. You can set a shortcut for zoom. Btw, cmd a and then cmd c will copy all the text of a pdf file to the clipboard. It can then be pasted
