Hi, You need to use the GUID Partition Map on the drive if you want it to be bootable by a Mac. Using Master Boot Record or the older version of the Apple Partition Map protocol will make the drive not bootable. Once you have the installer made, you can use System Preferences, Startup Disk

Hi, Actually, Launch Daemons are only in the main Library folder, not in the user specific one. Open Macintosh HD, Library and find Launch Daemons in there. You'll find a Launch Agents in there as well. I'd check in both Launch Agents and Launch Daemons in both locations for safety.
