Agree. I carry a small USB mouse with me when traveling so I don’t have to deal
with the touch pad. When at home I have a USB MS-Natural keyboard.
It’s hard for me to hold my hands up when typing on the lelaptop keyboard to
avoid touching the touchpad with the heels of my palms. Wish

The only way to turn the touchpad truly off is to find the checkbox that says
disable trackpad when an external mouse or trackpad is attached. Then, have a
handy bluetooth mouse that you turn on when you want the pad disabled.
This checkbox is in the accessibility settings area of
Press VO and rotate two fingers to the left.
