Thanks. It was dot 7 I was forgetting. I do think I need to find a
complete list of the computer braille codes, mine may have some errors.
I switched to UEB earlier this year as well so trying to get up tn speed.

Many believe that
All braille displays work the same under iOS in 8-dot mode. Basically,
brailling is in computer braille. Therefore, upper case letters have dot 7
included in the symbol. For instance, a is dot 1, whilst upper case A is dots 1
7. All punctuation follows the computer braille punctuation, and
I am learning my way around the Focus 40 5th Gen. In contracted mode
I get the expected results. In 8-dot mode I am not getting what I think
I should get. How should I enter text in 8-dot mode? I know what the
codes are, just not sure I am inputting correctly. Would like some tips.
