All, What’s up with Garage band? Whenever I try and use it, I always end up quitting out of frustration. I’ll be in the smart controls, for instance, and it will suddenly jump me to another part of the window and won’t let me go back until I switch applications and then go back. I can’t even arm tracks for recording before it does this, let alone cut and move regions around.
Is there something I’m missing, or an alternative? All I want to do is find a nice recording program to get song ideas out of my head before I forget them, which happens often. I do have PT but I’m looking for something a little more simplistic, at least for this stage of the writing process.
