Hi all,
Just in case anyone else ever needs to use this number, the person I spoke with
was very nice, but not very knowledgeable. Now admittedly, there’s probably
less demand for info re Mifi devices, but every time I asked a question, she
had to look up the answer. I would have preferred
I did not know this! Thank you, shai, I will call them right now.

Verizon Wireless does have an accessibility phone number. I'd contact
them and see if there is a way that they can help with this.

Hi Cara,
Thanks so much for your messages and suggestions. I suspect you are right,
that it is a security measure, but it’s one I could do without. :) I contacted
my employer to see if there is a less menu driven option, but it was the end of
the day, so I haven’t heard back yet. I think
Donna, that sounds like a nightmare!
I’m not sure what the current crop of Jetpack’s do to establish a connection
but I’m imagining what you’re describing with your device is really a security
measure.
If you still need any more details on this device, just let me know, otherwise,

Ah, yes, the user name / password! I think mine was written on a sticker on
mine.
I remember the IP address being displayed from the menu though.
Cheers!

Hi Donna,
Not sure if this will help, but I’ve used a couple of these over the last 12
years or so.
I have an older Verizon Jetpack now. You should be able to log on to your
device like you would with any other router, once you have its IP address.
It’s been several years since I configured
It looks like, with this particular device, in order to connect a device, you
have to select it from a menu system on the display of the MIFI. I guess I was
expecting to be able to connect from the device, just like I would to a
wireless network.

Hello Donna,
I have used a mifi device before. I'm not sure what you're trying to
do, but if all you are trying to do is to get connected with it, then
there should be a button to turn it on and the name/password of the
device will be displayed on the screen.
You could then use a visual
Hi all,
Due to our incredibly lousy internet service, I decided to rent a mini from my
employer. They sent an Orbic Speed, and it turns out you have to use the
display screen to do absolutely everything. Does anyone know if there is a
wifi device that is more accessible?
TIA,
Donna
