I apologize. I should have said that if you are using something other than an
apple keyboard you will have to create your own shortcut for it. At least I
have to when using my logitech keyboard.

Yes that shortcut works. Have also added Quick Note to control
center on iPhone and iPad. Will give it all a test run. Did not know
this is the native Notes app.

It is just a quick way to start a new note in the Notes app, so it is just as
accessible as using the Notes app the regular way.
