Yup, running an iPhone through a guitar amp is going to be odd sounding with all the effects and such that usually get applied to the signal, even though your amp does have a low gain input. Of course if you want to find a bluetooth speaker that sounds as good as your nice amp, I don't think

Just curious as to why you don't just plug your iPhone into a regular sound system? Sure blue-tooth would be nice but it might limit your choices quite a bit. Maybe a hybrid of the two would work better. Just get a bluetooth to audio receiver and plug it into your favorite PA system or amp.

I don’t have a sound system. I only have a peavey nashville 112 steel guitar amp, and the sound I get playing my sound files via the iPhone plugged into the amp is unacceptable. I just want a good fidelity speaker, one with a Lf and hf component that’ll approximate the full sound of an acoustic
