It a great idea, DAISY Playback on an iPod and your not the first to think of it but... Unless you have some kind of contact with Apple this will not happen without their help. The accessible iPod Nanos have no means of supporting software other than those made by Apple and the iPod Touch

Hi, This is not something that would happen right away unless some dedicated volunteers step forward but I was thinking about developing a daisy talking book extention for the IPod series of devices. This would let Apple IPod users have the same access as Victor Stream users to play audio
