At last, last Friday I managed to upgrade to Lion via the App Store
and wished I had done so earlier coz I am loving every moment of the
new experience.
However, I seem to have a problem with my network connections here. So
I want to download more voices as I liked the sounds of many of them.

There's really no direct way to download these, it uses software update. Even
if there was, you would still have the network issues, the realy solution here
is to resolve the network problem, everything else will follow.
