Hi Mike.
This is a bug apple ought to fix quicker than quick, because it is the same
problem with many apps on mavericks.
Is there another way that we can make a bootable USB pen for installing
mavericks. My mac needs to be reinstalled.
Best regards Annie.

HI Annie,
If you have an 8 GB disk available for creating a bootable Mavericks installer,
you can with the terminal. Make sure the drive is named untitled and that you
have the latest Mavericks installer from the Mac app store.
Once your flash drive is empty, you can copy and paste this command
Hello Daniel. I'm trying it as we speak and I get the message DiscMaker x has
no windows.
It says that it works with Mavericks and I have already installed Mavericks
but want to completely erase my iMac's Drive and do a clean install as my
folder structure is a mess.
I have just tried
The app does work in Mavericks, this is a voiceover bug, it currently doesn’t
work with apps created with apple script. Apple is already aware of it.

That's weird. The program is compatible
I too have issues with DiskMaker x. It creates the disk, but my disk doesn't
show up in start up disk to be booted off of. Though, amazingly, it creates the
disk just fine.

Hi Daniel,
It told you it had no windows, correct? I've also encountered this, the disk
seemed to be able to be made in spite of this, though. If you can, perhaps give
it a try and see if, in spite of Voiceover reporting the program had no
windows, if it still performed as intended.

Hi
Hello,
Has anyone used the new version of Discmaker X, formerly Lion Disc Maker to
make a bootable install drive of 10.9? I’m having extreme difficulties, which
is a shame because the previous versions of this app worked wonderfully with
VoiceOver.
Any help would be appreciated. The app reads
If you're meaning Lion Diskmaker, beta 3 is out, which let me go through the
process, until it wished to erase my disk. Then it said the operation couldn't
be completed. I tried several times. So, I tried beta 2 as that was what the
read me that came with the program indicated with a link, and
Hi Rachel, I did try Beta three as well as the official 3.0 release, which is
now named disc may correct. It's the same program, just a different name. I'm
having trouble with voiceover not seeing any contents of the window at all.
