One thousand and one reasons to delete your Facebook account. :) OK, here is what I used to do. I have deleted my faceBook account. So, this is mostly off of memory but it's the only way I could tolerate basic use of faceBook on my iMac. Go into Safari preferences. Go to the Advanced tab.

You could try MenuTab, but basically, it just displays either the mobile site or the desktop site as they are. It's a little faster to get started, i.e. you don't have to open Safari, but this is the only real advantage I notice. Teresa Everything is interesting if you go into it deeply
