The only time I get the Finer Busy is when I am wanting to call up an external
drive, like a thumb drive, that either has nothing yet on it or has a lot of
files. I think it is a VoiceOver thing because when I turn VoiceOver off, it
will stop doing out If I am copying a folder or file
Yes, Matthew, hitting Command-Shift-A or D does indeed seem to precipitate
things, now that you mention it.

This seems to fix the problem. I've been meaning to write Apple Accessibility
for a while now about this issue but haven't gotten around to it.
