Yes, the problem is some of these notifications are at the system level.
The suggestion to go into System Settings under General and login items can
affect some of them, but it’s probably not a good idea to turn things off
unless you know what they do.

It’s possible. I had it in my bookmark folder of resources. It probably is
outdated then. I think the suggestion in System Settings under login items
might be the way to go.

John,
This article is from December 2020.
The information is too old to be relevant for Ventura.

Dave,
This is new in Ventura. You must have many apps that start up at

Herbie,

started with Ventura,m or a recent update. It never happened using Monterey.
Any idea the purpose of these notifications? They seem pointless and irritating.

Do a VO O to bring up your notification center. Interact with Notifications and
do a VO Command Space on each group. You will then be able to clear them. You
wil have to do this for the log on ones every time you restart.

John,
I also read this article before posting my question. My notifications do not
seem to be application-related. I have notifications set to “off” for all
applications on my Mac. The only notification that is populating is the “login
items” notifications, and all I can do to them is to
I’ve been getting multiple notifications for logon items. They seem to
accumulate even if I restart Ventura. Ohly way I’ve found to trim them down is
one by one. I have 29 notifications so far, all marked as “login items”. I
don’t even know what is generating these notifications, but they are
