Oh yeah, I tried repairing permitions alright. in fact, I went so far as to
try a reinstall of Lion; but, that's a no go since it stalled at the "signing
in to Apple Store" screen and would not let me go any firther.

I was seeing the busy busy stuff in iTunes after upgrading this morning, but a
Repair Permissions seems to have taken care of it. You might give that a try,
ray.

experiencing any problems as you described in the new ITunes. In fact, if
anything, I'd say it is snappier. Now when I first arrow to the store on the

I am having no problem with itunes 5.6. Infact the problems with tracks
skippping has now been fixed. Not sure what you may be having. Have you tried
reparing permisions?

Ray you are making a blanket statement here. I upgraded to iTunes 10.6 and I am
not experiencing any problems at all. So, I doubt Apple did anything. I suspect
there is another issue specific to you.
