Well, I now have Microsoft copilot installed on my dock on the Mac and so I
thought I’d ask it a question. I asked her to write me a song about old blind
banjo players and I was told that it couldn’t do that because the material was
inappropriate. I was a little shocked because I am an old blind banjo player.
Question is does this mean that my life and existence is inappropriate or is it
just my request that’s inappropriate? Should I ask copilot for the answer to
that question?
I knew a guy back in the 70s who worked as a computer punch operator back when
those were a thing. For a joke he typed one out that said “you have been
computed out of existence, please terminate yourself at once”. Why do I feel
that all things old are becoming new again.
