It tells me the number of songs followed by the length , but not the size in
megabytes.

Hi, interact in the side bar of the music app and get to your playlist. Then
stop interacting and VO-right-arrow a couple times until you hear something
like this: 24 songs, 1 hour, 29 minutes, 110.8 MB button. There is the size of
a playlist.

I want to burn a MP3 CD. My playlist has 100 songs and is over 8 hours, My
question is, is there a way to know how many megabytes this is? My blank CD is
700MB.
