I have just been looking at one of the new 2018 mac book air devices and
I was looking through the systems details and had this similar thing happen
I didn't think much of it as it only happened once,
But may be it's a problem with the updates.

The problem is fixed I had vo set to play a tone when vo comes across format
changes in text. I set this to do nothing and now it is fine. Thanks. This
tone is ahigh pitch sound. HTH.

Replying to my own message. Terns out I had it set to give a sound to indicate
formatting. I disabled this and now all is well. Thanks all.
