They're just synced in your photo's folder according to whatever date you took
them.

I don't remember exactly how I set that up to work or if it was accidental, but
now when I connect my phone to my Mac if Dropbox finds new photos/videos, it
syncs them to the photos folder and you can just go through and browse it
quickly.

Can you please elaborate or point me to a source as to why and how you find
dropBox easier for your photos. I really can’t do a darn thing with the photos
themselves but I do like how apple’s photos app automatically organizes them. I
suppose maybe some of my family members would want
I almost never use that anymore sense all my new photos on my phone import to
Dropbox which I find a lot easier.

as I know. It requires a lot of interacting in places, but it's usable. That
said, I use it less often than you do, so I can't give much detail, sorry.

iPhotos is gone and Photos replaced it and it is more accessable
