It can, but only if that app is in the list of apps that integrate with the
Health app through the Health Kit framework. Yes, there are blood glucose
monitors or meters that integrate with the Health app, but not all providers
have good integration.

But will it let me capture data from a blood glucose sensor which uses NFC in
my iPhone x to pick up the relevant data from the sensor.
