Hello,
Those with battery issues should look under settings / battery. Which will give
an indication what app is draining their battery. If you allow lots of apps to
monitor your location these are usually the culprits.

I also heard iPhone SE has a very impressive battery life because the A9
powering the 6S and 6S Plus is what this chip was optimized for. Powering lower
res 4inch screen and bigger battery inside the SE might make up for this
reasoning. Though it’s not as good as 6S Plus it’s certainly close.
I do have an use Facebook, but I have been doing that for a long time, at least
several months. So I don't think that's it. I also do try to remember to take
it out of the app switcher, although I have also heard that having apps in the
app switcher doesn't make a difference. I still try to
I think it definitely makes a lot of difference for an iPhone 6S Plus or 6 Plus
users. I got the 6S Plus for several reasons despite it’s size. It seem to
deliver better speaker quality and most importantly that i want to address in
this thread, battery. The standby time is what it impressed me
Hi!
So this is why it says active for some apps in the appswitcher?

Make sure you do not let your phone get to warm. Do not leave it out where the
sun will warm it for example. Heat is the enemy of your battery.
Also, stuff in the task manager may be actively pinging so it is a good idea to
clean it out. For example, if i remove my SIP phone application from
Hi!

I would be very happy if I got two days of use out of my battery using it very
heavily. I guess there are different definitions of what that means. Smile. I
wouldn't even mind if I got a full day of use out of it without having to top
it off somewhere. I know I use my phone a lot. Maybe I will
Hi!
No advice but i can tell you that i have the same problem.
I use it very heavily together with the apple watch but it should last longer
than 2 days.

Apple, and other sources,, state not to run the battery completely down more
than once per month for recalibration. Doing so too often can damage the
LI-Polymer battery.
The information on the web tends to agree that the best battery management is
to run the battery between 30% and 80% for
According to several articles, the FaceBook app uses more battery life than any
other app when it is open in the app switcher.

Hi,
Have you recently installed any new apps? I installed the facebook app a couple
of weeks ago and notice that my battery life is much less since installing that
particular app. It is better when I remember to close the facebook app out of
my app switcher.

I have also tried running the battery down to zero. I had heard the same thing
that you said, helps reset things. Not for me thus far with this phone.

I occasionally run my battery down to zero so that the phone actually shuts
down from lack of battery. I don't know if this helps but I've heard that this
helps to reset the battery. Of course after running it down to dark, I put it
on the charger until it's 100% again. Occasionally I get a
I’d love to see any responses to this, Mary as I’m finding the same thing on my
6S. I rarely make it through 8 hours without getting down to 18%or so.
