Don't wait. There will always be bugs. That is a given. Instead,
take the time to learn the changes as they come. Sonoma is not much
different from Ventura. It is very different from Monterey and previous.

Perhaps, but exactly when, and how, did this become acceptable?

I don’t think anybody is saying it’s acceptable, just that’s the work around
for now.
If we all report this stuff to Apple, things will change for the better in
later updates/releases..

Yes, I've been experiencing this a lot in El Capitan. The way I fix it is to
shut down VO and start it again.

Yes, this behaviour has been present since El Capitan first release. The way I
fix this is by command+tabbing from the app and back into it, sometimes more
than once. This seems to be happening while the content is loading. I get the
same behaviour in itunes too when it's loading content for
Same here, although I don't shut down Voiceover. What I do is command+tab out
of the app store and then press that same command again to go back in and
usually Voiceover behaves properly. Actually, this has gone on in the early
stages of El Capitan. I've sent them feedback about this issue
So far I haven't had any updates to apps I purchased through the

Software Update process or do I have to go into the Mac App Store and
get updates there? Would be nice if they would integrate it into the

Hi,

I really like Lyrica, which displays lyrics for songs playing in ITunes. My
hearing ain't as good as it used to be, so I'm really loving it. :) Even though
the Pages app is a slightly older version, it's a bargain at $20. It's part
word processor, part publisher.
