Hi!
You can also use handbrake which is free.
Though I am not sure if it can rip DRM protected dvd’s.

Hello.
Yes it is possible to do that.
All you have to do, is when you select the audio track to include on your
destination file to make sure that the track with the description is the one
you want.
What is the name of this track is different from dvd to dvd, but it is easy to

Juliette,
All you need to enter information for concerning TV shows is the title,

So I figured out how to fill in the title info, but I am confused. Do I put the
title of the episode as the title? If so, what do I put if anything under
episode ID? Or do I need to fill in anything there? Thanks.

How would I ensure that the episodes get imported correctly? Are there

But lets first choose the first episode.
You will know the episodes by the time.
It definitely seems much simpler to use than Handbrake. I am just wondering,
once I copy the .m4v file into iTunes from my desktop, how do I then get the

Hi,
I have not found any problems with VoiceOver and Mac DVD Ripper Pro.
Why do you think its not accessible enough?
I think its a great app.

Hi there Rob,
It worked. The show is now showing up in TV shows. Just one more question. I
put in the title and season of the TV show, but in the edit field that says

file? Thanks.

Are you sure all episodes are in one file?
I had to add a second and third action for each episode before pressing the rip
button.
That made each episode ripped to its own file.
If you did get all episodes in 1 file, I dont believe they can be labeled
correctly.
Thanks,

If you're willing to get into the command line, make mkv is free and

Hello there,
I use WonderShare Video Converter.
It is about $75, but it is worth it because it will also convert AVI, MKV,
and other files types into mp4 rather quickly.

You could also try RipIt. While it's not free ($25) you can do 10 rips
before it self destructs.

Ripit says
Hi,
You might want to hold off on buying DVD Remaster Pro as it will
probably tell you that any DVD you try to rip is encrypted... the FAQ
helpfully tells you that most commercial DVDs are protected by CSS,
that the law probably allows you to make backup copies but it's not
clear and therefore
yes.
firstly, are you running 10.6 or 10.7? I have to ask as the piece of software I
use will only run in 10.6 at the latest as it's no longer in production. and
was compiled for PPC systems hence the need for rosetta.
the program is called mactheripper and is free.
it's fairly easy to use.
Fairmount.app is a way around this. I believe it comes with VLC, or, I
think, that's where I got it from. You insert the dVD, run Fairmount and then
use DVD Remaster. For backups only, of course.

Hello.
Dvd remaster pro can do the job for you. It is not free but it works great and
is accessible.
You can also do this using hand break but then you need some other utility to
bypass the css protection found on Dvds.
