I am in need of two apps that will work with VoiceOver: an alarm clock app and
an SMS app. Any suggestions?

they are looking for Mac apps I believe, this is coming from the
Macvisionaries list and thought this was restricted to general Mac
discussion.

Are you talking about IOS or Mac. If IOS you can use Google Voice, or TalkaTone.
