I have also on occasion had to actually open the watch app on my phone while
the two are connected. Not sure why doing that would matter, but it has helped.

Guess i have to turn that on and then select what apps to use for that purpose.

I normally can see the sun rise and sunset on the apple watch.
But since i drained the battery and charged it up again i only see sun rise and
sunset unknown.
I have tried to find any reason for this behaviour but i really can’t.
Any ideas on what i can do about it?

Usually when a complication just says “Unknown” it means that the data hasn’t
reached the Watch yet. Give it a bit while connected to your phone, lock and
unlock the screen a couple of times, and you should eventually have the
information.
