Glad I’m not the only one. I thought it looked confusing just because I’m still
learning, but I now know there are others that think the same.
Not that there is anything I need from the App Store yet.

Macintosh category, when I searched for Microsoft. On my El Capitan system the
fnd.io web site search results seem to work better if you tab through them

Yup. Apple turned the app store into total rubbish.
The only good thing they did was to move the OS updates into its own
spot in System prefs.
Search is still there in upper right and can also be invoked with
cmd-f. Toolbar is gone. Sidebar still there.

I opened the App Store this morning hoping to check out the Microsoft Office
suite for Mac. What the heck happened to this app. I used to be able to
search for a specific product or category of products, but now I don’t have a
clue what is expected in those fields and groups.
